MEGA announces its first UK User Conference

MEGA, a major enterprise architecture EA , business process analysis BPA , and governance, risk, and compliance GRC solutions provider, has announced the date of its first user conference to be held in the United Kingdom. The afternoon event, to include two case studies from major public and private sector organisations, will be held at a central London location, The Waldorf Hilton Hotel, on Tuesday, 9 December, 2008, from 1:30pm until 7:00pm.

The MEGA UK User Conference 2008 is designed to help users of the company s products and services at all levels, ranging from those starting out to more advanced practitioners. A carefully constructed programme will enable users to learn from and discuss with peers and MEGA new ideas and proven best practice. Delegates will thus be able to take back to their respective organisations ways to enhance or improve their respective projects, in turn, bringing new value to business performance.

Addressing topical issues and trends in EA and BPA, the conference programme will feature two case studies presented by the company s customers, a workshop, and a panel discussion about practical modelling work, done specifically with tools from the MEGA Modeling Suite. The suite provides a comprehensive, repository-based modeling environment to support projects ranging from process optimisation to the roadmapping of IT systems, and application analysis and design.

Particular subjects to be covered during the afternoon will include the important task of model management and ensuring that the representation remains alive and up-to-date; how stakeholders may successfully adopt a process-oriented approach to the enterprise; how to gain vital backing from senior management to achieve effective change management; and how to publish appropriate methods and procedures across the enterprise, using the right modes of communication.
